The Maryland Poedamnedmonium presented a battle-hardened Edward Redding to the local press corps today as their latest signing. The 34-year-old second baseman sealed a 2-year deal worth $18,960,000 mere hours before the formal introduction.
To date Redding has a .280 career batting average and has totaled 81 home runs.

It was a dismal game for the Pisces with Geronimo Rodriguez on the hill. The Maryland starter was in top form and made it a long day for Pittsburgh with a 4-0 shutout. He surrendered a total of 5 hits and piled up 7 strikeouts to pick up the win in a route-going effort.

James McKinsey of the Indians was unstoppable in today's 9-0 victory over the Maryland Poedamnedmonium at Boston Ballpark. He battered them for 5 hits in 5 at-bats.
"Boy, I was on the mark today," said the Ramapough Mountain right fielder after the game. "I could see the ball real well. It's a great feeling to do this. And besides, 5-5 won't hurt your batting average like 0-5 will."
J. McKinsey hit a two-run home run off L. Wilson in the 2nd, hit an RBI single in the 3rd, singled in the 5th, hit an RBI single in the 7th and hit a two-run single in the 8th.
To date, McKinsey has collected 73 hits for a .255 average. He has posted 4 home runs, scored 30 runs and driven in 29 runs.
