Monday, March 24th, 2008: Jersey City's Valles Will Miss Season

Monday, March 17th, 2008: Bad News for Jersey City, Pullum Injured
Jersey City fans will be disappointed to learn that George Pullum developed a strained back muscle while running the bases in today's game. After the doctor informed the Jersey City Skeeters manager that Pullum was expected to miss 7 weeks, the manager told the press that the rest of the team would have to step up their play until the right fielder could return. "You can't make excuses in baseball, because there's always a game tomorrow," said the team's skipper.

Friday, October 12th, 2007: Will Amell Leave Skeeters?
Rumors circulating around town say left fielder Orlando Amell is not happy at all playing in Jersey City and that the Skeeters are actively shopping him around.
